WWE announced the following:
Drew McIntyre has tested positive for COVID-19 and has been placed in quarantine.
With the announcement of the WWE champion testing positive for COVID-19, we can confirm Drew McIntyre will make his first comments tonight on Raw.
McIntyre had been advertised to compete against Randy Orton on tonight's WWE RAW in a non-title match. The Royal Rumble match PPV, which is scheduled to have McIntyre defend the WWE Title against Bill Goldberg, is just under three weeks away. This is the first time that WWE has publicly announced a positive Covid-19 test result of a roster member.
According to Fightful.com, there are other recent positive test results that affect multiple companies including WWE, AEW, and Impact Wrestling.
