- Court records have revealed that a confidential settlement was reached on Thursday in Hulk Hogan’s $110 million lawsuit against Cox Radio along with DJs Mike “Cowhead” Calta and Matt “Spiceboy” Loyd. The defendants were accused of conspiring to leak the sex tape that Hogan was involved in with Heather Clem, the ex-wife of radio host Bubba The Love Sponge. The sex tape, published by the website Gawker.com, included racist comments from Hogan which led to him being fired by WWE in 2015. Hogan successfully sued Gawker for $141 million in damages which led to Gawker going bankrupt and settling with Hogan for $31 million. Hogan then went after Cox Radio for the remaining damages and a settlement was reached in order to avoid a jury trial which was scheduled to begin in January 2021.
