CM Punk rumor killer; Did WWE learn from NXT show?
Submitted by Aaron Rift on 03/20/2020 at 05:05 PM

- Despite Seth Rollins teasing a match with CM Punk on WWE Backstage, Mike Johnson of PWInsider.com has shot down rumors regarding Punk being in talks to wrestle again for WWE:

“PWInsider.com, in checking today, was told there was zero communication between WWE management and CM Punk regarding such a match or even Punk appearing at Wrestlemania in any form. Nothing was offered.  Nothing was turned down.  The conversations never took place.”

- This week's edition of WWE NXT ended up doing the lowest viewership in the history of the show on the USA Network. Bryan Alvarez of F4WOnline.com noted the following about the situation:

“The impression that I have been given is that after the NXT number came in there was a push to actually do pro wrestling on the show since NXT did all pre-tapes and interviews and it was the worst number they’ve ever pulled on the USA Network. So, my guess is that they’re gonna be taping some matches.”
