Latest regarding Matt Riddle challenging Brock Lesnar
Submitted by Aaron Rift on 02/12/2020 at 06:43 PM

Just the NXT Takeover: Portland media call, Triple H commented on Matt Riddle challenging Brock Lesnar and the reports that Vince McMahon is unhappy with Riddle:

ďNobodyís asked about it. Certainly Vince didnít express his disapproval of anything that was said and Iím sure that if there was an issue then he would have called me directly. I donít know if youíve ever meet him heís not shy about that.Ē

ďSo, you know I didnít see that. I heard what you heard. There was a conversation between the two or whatever and Mattís Matt, Brockís Brock. They had a conversation thatís between them theyíre men and I donít mean that to be disparaging to anybody, but theyíre grown adults, letís just say that.Ē

ďThey had a conversation that they did, whatever they decided among themselves, you know to be honest, I read something and sometimes I donít know if thatís a work or thatís legit, but honestly I donít care either way from that standpoint. Iím entertained by it. If someone has a problem with it then theyíll come to me and Iíll help deal with the problem.Ē

Bryan Alvarez of F4WOnline.com also commented on the matter:

ďAs far as I know the Lesnar Riddle thing is not a work. Vince isnít happy with Riddle calling out Lesnar, but Triple H doesnít care. So, in Triple Hís mind if you wanna go out on an NXT show and call out Lesnar, then go ahead. Maybe one day it will catch on to the degree that people will want to get involved with it, but what I was told is thereís nothing going on. Itís not a work. Triple H doesnít care. Vince doesnít like it, but itís NXT and NXT is NXT and Triple H is allowing Riddle to do it. Thatís the story that I heard.Ē
