Triple H addresses NXT being counter-programming to AEW
Submitted by Aaron Rift on 08/08/2019 at 05:07 PM

During Wednesday's NXT conference call, Triple H addressed the rumors about NXT moving to FS1 and if that's the WWE's way of providing counter-programming to AEW on Wednesday nights:

ďWhen it comes to NXT growing as a brand, there are more options on the table. You know, and look Iíll say just contrary to what Iíve heard because Iíve heard that weíre talking about putting them on FS1 and then people come in with counter-programming talkÖ we have content all over the place and if people want to talk about counter-programming and bring that up in the conversation then Wednesday has been the home of NXT forever, right? Thatís where itís sat. Itís been on our Network on a Wednesday time slot now forever and when other people announce a Wednesday ó you donít hear talk about counter-programming. You just hear the announcement.Ē

ďFor us everything is counter-programming. Itís this and itís that and you know, we plan things long in advance. We plan on doing our business and thatís what we worry about.Ē
