Road Dogg resigns as co-lead writer of Smackdown

PWInsider.com is reporting that Brian James aka Road Dogg has stepped down from his position as co-lead writer of the Smackdown brand. Mike Johnson of PWI noted the following:

"Sources cited James' increasing frustration with changes made to the Smackdown scripting by Vince McMahon with James finally hitting a 'breaking point' at this past Tuesday's Smackdown taping in Brooklyn, NY."

There is no word yet who might replace James or if he'll be transitioning to another position in the company. James wrote the following Twitter message on Wednesday morning:
