Attorney raising questions about Christopher's death Submitted by Aaron Rift on 08/01/2018 at 09:40 AM
As previously noted, the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation is looking into the death of Brian Christopher and the events that led to Christopher hanging himself in a jail cell.
Civil rights attorney Jeff Rosenblum talked to FOX13 Memphis about Brian Christopher and said the family should get an independent review:
"What is the TBI going to do? What documentation are they looking at? Are they looking at surveillance video? I want to know more. If it is my son and my client? I want to know more,” said Rosenblum."
Rosenblum, who has filed more than 40 lawsuits against county and state run jails, is skeptical about situation:
"Most suicides are preventable, and most suicides in confinement are and should be prevented. I want to see the log books. I want to talk to the inmates I want to get statements from those inmates, get statement from them to make sure that is an accurate statement."
