Lesnar confirmed for SSlam; Barnett's role in JR incident
Submitted by Aaron Rift on 07/12/2018 at 07:31 PM

- According to Dave Meltzer of F4WOnline.com, Brock Lesnar has been confirmed for the WWE Summerslam PPV. At this time, Lesnar's opponent for the PPV is unknown but the belief is that it will be either Roman Reigns or Bobby Lashley. As previously noted, Lesnar is also scheduled for the post-Summerslam edition of RAW.

- Jim Ross' commentary partner for NJPW on AXS, Josh Barnett, appeared on JR's podcast. The two of them talked about the incident at the G1 Special in San Francisco where JR got injured. Barnett ended up getting into the ring which was not scripted. Here is an excerpt courtesy of WrestlingNews.co:

JR: “It seemed like you were okay until he taunted you.”

Barnett: “That was the crowning moment there. Everything happened so damn fast. As soon as that table went, down you went. Someone tried to go, ‘you even try to catch him.’ I go – how the f**k am I gonna catch him? Juice Robinson is 235 lbs getting suplexed into a table. We were getting disrespected. That was it.”
