Update on Bryan's future with WWE; Wrestling/Emmys

- Daniel Bryan continues to be added to WWE events after his contract expires on September 1st. In addition to December 26th at Madison Square Garden, Bryan is being advertised for the September 4th Smackdown Live in Detroit, MI. Bryan is currently rumored to be facing The Miz at Summerslam with the feud continuing if Bryan stays with the company.

- Despite getting on the preliminary ballot, no WWE programming was nominated for an Emmy this year. WWE had recently made a push for an Emmy nomination and even hosted a For Your Consideration event in Los Angeles.

However, the Netflix series GLOW did pick up an Emmy nomination for outstanding comedy series. In addition to that, actress Betty Gilpin got a nomination for outstanding supporting actress in a comedy series for her role as Debbie Eagan.
