Why Lesnar's UFC appearance was ignored on RAW
Submitted by Aaron Rift on 07/12/2018 at 09:44 AM

According to Dave Meltzer of F4WOnline.com, it was Vince McMahon’s decision for Brock Lesnar’s UFC 226 appearance to not the mentioned on RAW. Meltzer wrote:

”It appears McMahon is adamant in creating the idea that Lesnar has walked out, is going to UFC, turned his back on the WWE fans, and isn’t coming back to drop the title and holding up the belt.”

It also appears that WWE wanted to focus on Extreme Rules (which Brock Lesnar isn’t part of) so there wasn’t a need to mention him. Meltzer added that Lesnar is under contract through at least the end of August and is being advertised for the RAW after Summerslam at Barclays Center.
