CM Punk says he's done with professional wrestling
Submitted by Aaron Rift on 06/07/2018 at 03:45 PM

- In a media interview with Dan Gelston of the Associated Press, CM Punk talked about how his frustrations where growing towards the end of his WWE run:

"I was crying out for help," Punk said. "I wasnít finding it. I really needed to focus on me. Some people want to say itís dramatic, but I watched friends in wrestling turn to drugs and alcohol and eventually die because they canít get the help that they need. I had to force myself to do it and step back. Iím not the one to generally ask for help. So when I finally was doing it, that should have alarmed a lot of people. But it didnít. I was just one of the cattle."

- CM Punk did another media interview today with Aaron Bronsteter of TSN and brought up his comments from yesterday about not getting an offer to wrestle again. CM Punk clarified his remarks and said that he is "done with professional wrestling" and "it's in the rear-view mirror."
