In an interview with, CM Punk commented on possibly returning to pro-wrestling:

ďNobody has ever asked me Ė like straight up asked me to come wrestle for them. Nobody's ever been like, 'hey, here's the deal, we're having a show, we're paying you X amount and you're working this guy. Whaddaya say, yes or no?' Nobody's ever done that."

When asked if Punk would return if an offer was made, he said:

ďI donít think so but itís a hard question to answer. A lot has happened this week. I can definitely tell you if you asked me that question a week ago when felt like I still had a foot in the grave so to speak, the answer is no I donít want anything to do with it. I feel like Iím out and the future has yet to be written. Itís a wide open book, itís my story to tell. Iím just being real. Iím not gonna sit here and be like Ďno, no.í Something might come up, some fun might be had but right now my head and my mind and my focus is 100 percent on Saturday and fighting so does that mean fighting beyond Saturday? To me, yes.Ē
