Impact star talks about being 'heartbroken' by WWE Submitted by Aaron Rift on 06/03/2018 at 12:07 PM
In a recent interview with Busted Open Radio, Impact Wrestling star Tessa Blanchard talked about things not working out with WWE. Here is what Blanchard said courtesy of WrestlingNews.co:
ďAfter my WWE tryout in 2014, I was like Ďalright, Iím getting signed. Iím going to be there. Iím ready, letís do this. Itís happening. Everything is happening right now. When it didnít happen I was heartbroken. I think itís because God had a plan for meÖ If I would have gone and they would have signed me right away, I donít think I would have had the life experiences or the experiences in wrestling.Ē
Blanchard also responded to people on Twitter that claim she is being handed opportunities because of her last name:
Being generational is not a bad thing.
My last name doesnít take the bumps for me, doesnít travel the miles for me, doesnít set up the rings or get me up to train. My last name doesnít squat 225 & bench 135 on an off day.
