Updates on Jericho/GRR and Charlotte's surgery
Submitted by Aaron Rift on 05/10/2018 at 09:58 AM

- Dave Meltzer of F4WOnline.com noted the following about Chris Jericho being added and then pulled from the Greatest Royal Rumble casket match with the The Undertaker:

”Jericho, as a courtesy, told McMahon that he was going to Fukuoka to shoot another angle with New Japan for his match with Naito at Dominion. Just a couple of hours later he was told that the Prince of Saudi Arabia asked for Rusev in he mach instead of him so they were taking him out.”

The story doesn’t appear to make sense since the Prince had specifically requested legends for the show (Hogan, Undertaker, Yokozuna, etc) and would more likely be familiar with Jericho than Rusev.

- As previously noted, Charlotte is going to be having surgery after the WWE European tour to repair a ruptured impact. According to Dave Meltzer of F4WOnline.com, the implant was actually ruptured before Wrestlemania but Charlotte didn’t want to miss the match with Asuka and the lucrative European tour. Charlotte is expected to miss several weeks of action but should be ready to go for the Summerslam PPV.
