Ex-WWE star becomes NXT coach; MVP talks RAW 25 Submitted by Aaron Rift on 02/08/2018 at 01:44 PM
- WWE announced the following today:
The NXT Womenís division has only been around for a few years, but as the springboard for the Womenís Evolution, its legend already looms large. Thatís where Serena Deeb comes in. A former acolyte of CM Punkís Straight Edge Society (you might remember her getting her head shaved in the middle of the ring), Deeb resurfaced as a competitor in last summerís Mae Young Classic and was recently named the newest Womenís coach at the WWE Performance Center.
- In an interview with Big League Wrestling, MVP commented on his RAW 25 appearance:
ďBy and far and away I was the sharpest dressed poker player in the building. At the end of the day I made a very nice pay day to show up in a suit, play cards, say hi to my friends, no bumps I win. It makes me laugh because people were like congratulations on going to RAW. Congratulations for what? Itís a date. Iím going to work, itís a one off. Thanks I guess. not that big a deal. For me. With all due respect.Ē
ďI want to get re-signed to the WWE just so I can make an XFL appearance at a game and then take a knee during the national anthem.Ē
