Jericho returning to WWE after Omega match?
Submitted by Aaron Rift on 11/10/2017 at 12:42 AM

According to Dave Meltzer of F4WOnline.com, people close to the situation expect Chris Jericho to be back in WWE during 2018 with one person saying it could be as early as the RAW 25th anniversary special. The idea in bringing back Jericho that quickly would be to capitalize on the buzz from his NJPW with Kenny Omega. Jericho’s last contractual run ended when he lost the U.S. Title to Kevin Owens and he’s made a few appearances since as a free agent.

Regarding how WWE feels about Jericho doing the NJPW match with Omega, there is believed to be no issues from WWE’s end. Even if there were, Jericho is a free agent and has been one for months.

While it’s possible that Jericho could have a rematch with Omega, the deal right now is for their match to be a one-off.
