Even more details on the Owens/Zayn situation

As previously noted, SI.com published an article about Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens being sent home from WWE's European tour. The article described Owens and Zayn being sent home for "conduct deemed detrimental to the WWE" and “going into business for themselves” on last night's Smackdown Live.

According to ProWrestlingSheet.com, multiple sources have said that Owens and Zayn were supposed to "feed" for the New Day following the match between Zayn and Kofi Kingston. The term "feeding" is when a heel keeps going after a babyface but is repeatedly fought off and knocked down as a way to get the babyface over. Owens and Zayn were reportedly supposed to do this after the match but left the ring for an unknown reason. Multiple sources have also indicated that Owens and Zayn have been "slightly" difficult to work with and have appeared to be unhappy backstage.

PWInsider.com has noted that there were reportedly multiple issues with Owens and Zayn during the tour including the Zayn/Kingston post-match segment. Owens was allegedly complaining on a tour bus after the show which was said to be "the last straw."

PWS's Ryan Satin notes that both Owens and Zayn were close with Neville and the recently released Jimmy Jacobs. Satin also wrote on Twitter that the Zayn/Owens situation is "not a work, people."
