Backstage reaction to Cena/Nakamura; Miz/Jordan update
Submitted by Aaron Rift on 08/03/2017 at 12:32 PM

- Regarding the scary exploder suplex spot with John Cena and Shinsuke Nakamura on this week's Smackdown Live, people backstage in WWE reacted to it as a fluke incident. There is reportedly no backstage heat on Nakamura, especially since Nakamura was quick to apologize to Cena in the ring and Cena told him not to be sorry.

- While The Miz vs. Jason Jordan has been a match rumored for the Summerslam PPV, Dave Meltzer of F4WOnline.com notes that the match is not in the current plans for the event. The belief is that the match will happen at some point but WWE doesn't want to rush the match too soon, especially on a show with an already loaded card.
