More on WWE's budget cuts; Funk wrestling again
Submitted by Aaron Rift on 08/01/2017 at 10:33 AM

- As previously noted, WWE has been making budget cuts including the cancellation of several WWE Network shows and discontinuing the usage of pyro at events. It is believed that the cuts are being made because recent profits had fallen short of what WWE had promised. WWE attributed the disappointing numbers to company spending and the cuts were made in hopes of increasing profits over the next year.

- Wrestling legend Terry Funk, now 73 years old, is being advertised to wrestle again. Funk is scheduled to team up with The Rock and Roll Express to take on Jerry Lawler, Doug Gilbert, and Brian Christopher. The two teams will face off at Big Time Wrestling in Raleigh, NC on September 22nd and 23rd.
