WWE pulls Styles vs. Owens from Battleground?
Submitted by Aaron Rift on 07/09/2017 at 10:57 AM

Following this past week's Smackdown Live, WWE announced Kevin Owens vs. AJ Styles for the U.S. Title at the Battleground PPV. After Styles won the title at Friday night's live event in Madison Square Garden, the match for Battleground was removed from the PPV's lineup page and the link about the match (provided in the tweet below) was deleted.

At this point, it's unknown why the match is no longer being advertised. Despite reports of Kevin Owens possibly being injured, Owens did work last night's WWE live event in Corpus Christi in a triple threat match against AJ Styles and Baron Corbin.
