More details on Aries' release; Lesnar at No Mercy PPV
Submitted by Aaron Rift on 07/08/2017 at 10:57 AM

- The general belief regarding Austin Aries' release from WWE was that he requested it due to his position in the cruiserweight division and wanting to do more with his career. According to a PWTorch.com source, Aries apparently had a reputation for having a bad attitude and that was why WWE went ahead and granted Aries a release. Aries has reportedly been dealing with a back injury as well which might have played a role in him wanting to leave. It's expected that Aries will end up back in the indies fairly soon.

- Brock Lesnar is now being advertised for the WWE No Mercy PPV in Los Angeles on September 24th which will be Lesnar's third straight PPV match. As previously noted, Lesnar is expected to be working more dates in 2017 than previous years.
