WWE reportedly hires several new female talents

- Dave Meltzer of F4WOnline.com reports that Io Shirai, one of Japan's biggest female wrestling stars, has agreed to an offer to join WWE. Another star, Kairi Hojo, is expected to start training at the WWE Performance Center soon. Both women worked for the Stardom promotion.

- In the United States, SquaredCircleSirens.com is reporting that WWE signed independent wrestler Kennadi Brink to work as a referee for the company. Brink has wrestled for various promotions including MCW and SHIMMER. She also recently worked as a referee for a few NXT events in Florida.
