More details on Braun Strowman's injury and storyline plans
Submitted by Aaron Rift on 05/09/2017 at 09:59 AM

As noted yesterday, Braun Strowman has an elbow injury and will need surgery to fix the problems. While the procedure is considered minor, Dave Meltzer of F4WOnline.com reports that WWE doesn't know how long he is going to be out of action until he has the surgery. At this point, it's unclear which direction the company will go in for the Great Balls of Fire PPV as Strowman was scheduled to challenge Brock Lesnar for the Universal Title. Lesnar's title defense at GBOF probably won't be delayed since he has already been advertised for the show in the Dallas market.

It's unknown when the injury took place since Strowman has been working live event matches regularly. Strowman has been going through tables at the events so it's possible that he landed wrong on one of the occasions. WWE reportedly only found out about the injury yesterday before RAW went on the air.
