Bad news for SD Live; Cost of Wrestlemania set
Submitted by Aaron Rift on 04/19/2017 at 06:45 PM

- After doing a 2017 high of 3.105 million viewers last week for the Superstar Shakeup, this week's Smackdown Live fell back down to 2.544 million viewers. This week's Smackdown Live was one of the least-watched episodes of the year so far. The viewership for this week's show was likely impacted by the NBA Playoffs and other sports competition.

- There are reports going around online that WWE spent between $5-6 million dollars on the Wrestlemania 33 set in total costs. The belief is that Wrestlemania 33's set was the most expensive one ever built in WWE history. For Wrestlemania 29, NJ.com reported that $1.4 million was spent in gross salaries to 450 union workers for construction of the Wrestlemania 29 set in New Jersey.
