Sunday night is Extreme Rules, or as Teddy Long says, "Extreme Roos", headlined by the fatal fiveway to see (Roman Reigns) who (Roman Reigns) is going to challenge (Roman Reigns) Brock Lesnar for the Universal Championship at the absurdly named Great Balls of Fire. I wish Seth or Fin would win. Not that I have a problem with Roman, I just think Seth/Brock or Fin/Brock would be intriguing.

To be honest, any of these guys challenging Lesnar would be interesting in their own way. Joe challenging Brock would be a straight-up brawl. Seth and Brock would be good. Fin and Brock would be your classic David vs Goliath that Vince loves, well, loved. I think they've soured on Fin. They've really soured on Joe. They've definitely dropped the ball with him since his debut. Speaking of dropping the ball, it's abundantly clear that Bray Wyatt, a former champ, is just filler here. So, I think, as much as some people might not like this, it's Roman Reigns v Brock Lesnar for the Universal Championship. I'm just glad the title is actually going to be defended. First defense for Brock. First title appearance since WrestleMania TWO MONTHS AGO!

The Hardy's are defending, and losing, the Raw tag titles against Sheamus and Cesaro aka Sheasearo, in a cage match. This will likely pave the way for Matt and Jeff to do the singles thing for awhile. I'm already salivating at a possible Jeff Hardy/Seth Rollins match.

Also on the show is Ambrose and Miz for the Intercontinental title. This match is absurd to the core. Why? The stipulation is: if Dean gets disqualified, he loses the championship. That's stupid. Miz will probably regain the title and the feud will continue through SummerSlam.

Alexa Bliss defends the women's title against Bayley in a kendo stick on a pole match. If I need to explain the rules to you, you clearly haven't watched wrestling in the past 40 years. Is this finally going to be when Sasha turns on Bayley? Alexa retains.

WWE.com asks if the third time is the charm when Austin Aries goes for Cruiserweight gold against champion Neville. I say yes. If A Double loses, what happens? He keeps winning #1 contender matches until he finally wins the title at WrestleMania 35? No. Austin must win. And it's a submission match. Oh, we're in for a treat!

A mixed tag match pitting Sasha Banks and Rich Swann against Noam Dar and Alicia Fox has pre-show written all over it. It doesn't really matter if the match is on the pre-show or main show, as long as they're given time to perform....is something a PC person would say. There are five matches at Extreme Rules. Why not put them all on the main card and just have the panelists talk on the half-hour pre-show? That's what I'd do. But hey, Vince hates the cruiserweights so this will probably be given three minutes on the pre-show. That's fine.

Before I wrap up, I'll touch on the "who's attacking Enzo" storyline. It's so obvious that it's Big Cass, right? They break those guys up, Cass obliterates Enzo in a singles match, cuts a swath through Raw on his way to the Intercontinental Championship. That's one way to go. It's the way I'd go. Here's the way WWE will probably go. 'Zo's attacker will be revealed to be Apollo Crews, at the behest of Titus O'Neil. This will set up Enzo and Cass vs. Titus and Apollo. This would seem like a Velocity feud but, hey, as sparse as the tag championship picture can be, maybe it ends up being a #1 contender feud. I still like Cass going solo, though.

Until next week, enjoy Extreme Rules!
