NoDQ.com > Columns > Wrestle Review: Lag Team Division?
Posted by Andy Sullivan on 03/09/2017 at 09:20 PM

Let's look at the tag team division on Monday Night Raw. You have Raw tag champs Gallows and Anderson, Cesaro and Sheamus, Enzo and Cass, the Shining Stars New Day and well, that's it. WWE clearly thinks of the Shining Stars as a joke. Honestly, I'm surprised they're still employed there.

Smackdown, on the other hand, has their champions Steiner Brothers 2017(otherwise known as Gable and Jordan), the Uso's, Rhyno and Slater-I'm surprised they're still a team), Vaudevillians( surprised these guys still have jobs), Ascension. Authors Of Pain will tip the scales, both literally and figuratively. I think they'll be a Raw team.

Bits and pieces.... Jack Swagger was released. I can't say I'm surprised. The man is a former Money In The Bank winner and World Champion. Lately, however, he went from rarely used to jobber to never used. I think things went permanently downhill when he was busted for possession. Difficult to recover from that, especially when the brass doesn't like you to begin with. I noticed, however, he's still on WWE's superstar page. Just have yet to remove him, I guess.

When does Mick Foley get fired? It's a slow build, which I like. I think we're heading towards another Corporation storyline, which I hate. More on that in a future column. Until next week..
