"I honestly think that you are so good (different) at how you approach columns. I know some people take compliments lightly and such, but honestly, you should be a very proud man. Boatloads of people including me, read your columns ALL THE TIME. Me personally, I wake up every morning, and before I go to school, I read your column (I'm 16). Also, your consistency with your columns is amazing, just from reading them so much, I almost feel like I know your thought process (not that I do). So with all of that out of the way, thank you."

My LIVE In Person WWE Fastlane Review

Posted on 411mania.com right now! Everything about my experience going to WWE Fastlane 2017 on Sunday night. Before, during, and after the event. Very fun time. Here is the link to read...

WWE Hall Of Fame

You know, the WWE usually hits a home run every year with their hall of fame announcements. They have done it again in 2017. Not to mention the shock from 2013 and 2014 getting Bruno Sammartino and The Ultimate Warrior (thanks to Triple H). Yes, we can all nitpick and whine about SOME stars getting in or the celebrity wing, but on the whole, give them credit. It is another worthwhile group of wrestlers; hope to see them in Orlando.

Same with the recent signings. Heck, the past few years or signings. I'd argue that is AGAIN due to HHH. Nigel Mcguinness, Samoa Joe, Bobby Roode, AJ Styles, Austin Aries, Eric Young, Shinsuke Nakamura, Luke Gallows, Karl Anderson, Roderick Strong, Ember Moon, Asuka, Hideo Itami, Sami Zayn, Finn Balor, etc. You can even throw in The Shield and Braun Strowman for those who doubt the garbage argument about not signing big men anymore. It is WM Season, so I would like to think fans appreciate wrestling for all of its good throughout the next month.

WWE RAW Thoughts

- Enjoyed the opening segment with Chris Jericho and Kevin Owens. My friends and I debated on Sunday night after Fastlane if we would ever see Owens get his Universal Title rematch against Bill Goldberg. Well, I said no. Seems WWE is saving that for down the road - likely when there is a new title holder. Clever promo work from Y2J and KO, bringing it all full circle to the United States Championship and Mania. Good.

- NOT good is another Owens vs. Sami Zayn match without any build on Raw. Just shouldn't happen. Could have done a million other things in that five minute time slot than do a match with the clean finish.

- Two thumbs WAY up on the Neville/Austin Aries confrontation. I thought that would happen in Milwaukee the night prior, but Chicago works too. More of a smarky crowd. Fans went wild for Aries returning, and the moment he took off his sunglasses to show his eye was perfect. Please do not throw these guys on the Kickoff Show. Please. There is plenty of time on the main card.

- Fine Bill Goldberg moment with the title belt. Surreal to see how this has all played out since November and the rumors from earlier in 2016. Amazing and exactly why folks say "never say never" in the business. Brock Lesnar coming out to give him an F-5 was predictable but notable. Goldberg has not really taken many moves (if any) in nearly 13 years, so I hope he was prepared for that crash of reality. Lesnar stands tall now, over Goldberg. A rarity in their feud.

- Not that much going on in the tag team scene for Raw. Too bad. This really should be all about Big Cass and Enzo making their journey back to Orlando looking for the tag team titles, in the backyard of NXT. So easy to tell that story.

- Akira Tozara was one of my surprises from Fastlane. The live crowd took to him relatively quickly and enjoyed his persona/wrestling. I like him.

- The New Day...more like Yester Day. Come on guys. Do something! Mania is right around the corner, I am trusting you three to deliver.

- Oh, Chicago chanting for CM Punk. In 2017 no less. Do they realize that they come off as the fools and not WWE? I wonder.

- The women's division is just like the tag picture. What a mess. Sasha Banks vs. Bayley took place on RAW last night with zero hype. No build or anything. Here you go Chicago! That was THE match for Mania, with the RAW Womens Championship of the line. I know I sound a little arrogant here, but that is so easy. Such a simple story to tell. Whether Sasha is full blown heel or still acting mysteriously, it wouldn't even matter.

- Charlotte DOES deserve a prime spot at WM. I don't think anybody can argue that. She has more than earned her stripes in 2016. Just wish it was not this. Nia Jax, yeah, sorry. Have yet to see it all come together for her. Glad the title picture is excluding her...for now.

- Enjoying the Seth Rollins vs. Triple H stuff. Not an official match but more of a FIGHT! Just in case injuries and doctors to get involved, WWE has their 'out' to not have the bout. Obviously, I think it will happen thankfully. Nice to see the company take a different approach to advertising a Rollins/HHH brawl. You can always do the complete match down the road. Let everybody get healthy first and then get the story line going. Definitely intriguing how this will be handled at WM33 in Orlando.

- Roman Reigns vs. The Undertaker was set up at the end of Raw. Chokeslam from The Deadman after a threat from The GUY! No issues with any of this at all. Crowd loved it, and the fans will buy into the heel/face dynamic, even if both stars are technically considered good guys. Could steal the show at Mania, although I think that honor will go to AJ Styles vs. Shane McMahon (if it happens).

- What really got me was Braun Strowman. Did he leave out of respect to Taker, as a face turn? The monster among men did kinda suck up to Chicago with his promo bashing Reigns. A face turn seems a little rushed/strange right now. Or did Braun simply give the stage to Taker because he knew he would destroy Reigns more? A little wacky logic there but would fit. Somewhat. Or was it nothing and simply filler to give us the Roman/Taker showdown? We'll see. Either way, nice close to Raw.

SUMMARY: Plenty of good on Raw last night. The tag and women's title scene is a big mess but whatever. WWE can fix it in three weeks. Everything else was either solid or very entertaining. On the Road to Orlando...
