"I honestly think that you are so good (different) at how you approach columns. I know some people take compliments lightly and such, but honestly, you should be a very proud man. Boatloads of people including me, read your columns ALL THE TIME. Me personally, I wake up every morning, and before I go to school, I read your column (I'm 16). Also, your consistency with your columns is amazing, just from reading them so much, I almost feel like I know your thought process (not that I do). So with all of that out of the way, thank you."

Help a friend out and raise some money for a good cause. I have promised to match any donations made. In other words, if you donate $5, I will also donate $5. If you donate 10 bucks, I will as well and so on and so forth. The goal is $100, so help her out and get a cool shout out from yours truly. A nice way to begin 2017.

411Mania Column

My new column on 411mania was posted late Monday night. It covers why The New Day hosting WrestleMania 33 is a GOOD thing, the Magnus-TNA Impact Wrestling rumor, Holy Foley ending its current run, as well as my thoughts on the women's division in WWE. Both Raw and Smackdown LIVE. Lots of opinions to share. The plan is to have another two or three columns next week for 411mania written this weekend, but we'll see.

Guess who's officially back in NXT? On Wednesday night, Kassius Ohno made an appearance and was instantly back in the main event fold. Not sure he will stay at the top of the card going forward. However, it works as a re-introduction to him. Going straight after Bobby Roode is smart. Either way, welcome back Ohno. A lot has been written about his departure a few years ago. Some true (changes in the system) and some untrue (weight). In the end, I am not sure it truly matters because the journey and path always finds a way in the end. Arguably, what Ohno (Chris Hero) did these past few years HELPED his career more than staying in NXT the entire time.

RAW Thoughts

Just going to focus on the positives. Raw has been better in recent weeks, so I will wait for another day to rip it apart.

- GREAT start to the show with Kevin Owens. Shocking how much things change when he serious. I don't like repeating myself, but that Chris Jericho nonsense really did drag him and the WWE Universal Title scene for months...which in turn made the entire brand something of a comedy more than a prestigious battle over a prized possession. Glad Owens is back on track. Just in time to face Bill Goldberg at Fastlane.

- Thankfully, WWE showed some restraint in not giving away yet another lengthy KO vs. Sami Zayn match without any build. That has happened way too much in the past year. Nope, instead this was just about Samoa Joe laying out another victim and being the destroyer. Cool that I may get to see Zayn vs. Joe live in person next Sunday night. I like it. Seth Rollins is back next week on RAW (Goldberg too), so we will get some WM33 answers then.

- Interesting twist on a normal Brock Lesnar and Paul Heyman sit down interview. Even though it was a small tweak on the camera angle, it made for a dynamic we rarely see on WWE television. Two thumbs up on the segment. My guess is Brock Lesnar does NOT interfere at Fastlane. Why would he? Let Goldberg get the title, and then he can win it from him at Mania. Makes sense to me.

- Enjoyed the main event between Braun Strowman and Big Show. Still no Shaq for those wondering. Running out of time on that one! I loved the fact that Strowman won clean and also laid out Roman Reigns afterwards. That is how you create a monster folks. With time and effort put into a talent, the live crowd WILL buy into it. Raw has done wonders with Braun since last July. Now, they are getting the payoff. Props to the L.A. crowd as well for treating this main event with respect, rather than instantly taking a dump on it because the two were slow moving giants. See what happens when you take away the annoying chants and just sit back and let the guys work? Kudos.

WWE Smackdown LIVE Thoughts

Eventful show on Tuesday night. I want to write a full blown column about it. Let's see if that actually happens, haha.

Lastly, congrats to Diamond Dallas Page on his WWE Hall of Fame induction. It had been known for awhile now (like Teddy Long), so the announcement was a long time coming. Well deserved for his stuff inside and outside the ring. The 2017 class is shaping up nicely. Probably another manager and then a women's wrestler left. I will let you all speculate on the names. Right now, my plan is to NOT attend the HOF ceremony or NXT Takeover event during WM weekend. Plans may change though once I get to Orlando and feel the energy of the fans.

FastLane & WM33

Almost there! Just days away from attending WWE FastLane in Milwaukee. I can't wait to be there. Then comes Wrestle FREAKIN' MANIA 33 in Orlando! Tickets have officially been purchased. Next up is travel/living plans for the Thursday-Monday time period I've set up in the surrounding Florida area. Oh baby, getting closer...
