"I honestly think that you are so good (different) at how you approach columns. I know some people take compliments lightly and such, but honestly, you should be a very proud man. Boatloads of people including me, read your columns ALL THE TIME. Me personally, I wake up every morning, and before I go to school, I read your column (I'm 16). Also, your consistency with your columns is amazing, just from reading them so much, I almost feel like I know your thought process (not that I do). So with all of that out of the way, thank you."

411mania Plug

Head on over to the 411mania.com column section right now. I have a few columns already posted from the past week, including my month response to the comment section and WWE Elimination Chamber predictions. Plus, there is more to come! Stay tuned to 411; I'm not done yet...

WWE Elimination Chamber

Only two weeks removed from Royal Rumble, Smackdown LIVE has done a surprisingly good job setting up their next WWE Network special. Not that it bears repeating, but I love the Road to WrestleMania. This year, things are that much more important because of my plans to attend Fastlane and the big spectacle in Orlando, Florida. I expect a solid show on Sunday, with twists and turns as always. Predictions on 411.

TNA Impact Wrestling

0.05 maim demo with 252,000 viewers - that is the world of TNA Impact Wrestling in 2017.

Note that is NOT a .5 television rating. No, that is a ZERO POINT ZERO FIVE, in the main male demographic. A huge difference. The company would give up their entire existence right now for a .5 rating. Kinda sad but not entirely too shocking. The new regime is the same as the old regime. Even if the kinks are still being worked out, everything appears to need a reboot again.

Yes, again. The guys, the gals, the story lines, the commentators, the setting, the taping schedule, the feuds, etc. Everything.

Reboot the entire thing again. Might as well.

Oh, and are we done with The Hardyz nonsense yet? It 'popped' a number once back in July. Once. Just once. Everything else has been so ridiculous and laughable that viewers threw in the towel and moved on. The excuse of "Well, it draws!!!" is clearly not there. I could argue it never did but whatever. Tear the company down for the 385th time and rebuild from scratch. What do you have to lose? Viewers? There's not many left.

WWE Financials

As noted last week in this very column (Mick Foley style thumbs up!), WWE upgraded their financial projections a few weeks ago - leading many to believe that things were going to be glorious come Thursday...and yep! Not only did the company nail their prediction dead on, the public reacted accordingly with praise and a soaring stock price.

WWE Network had 1.5 million PAID subscribers as of January 31st. The 2016 year end was 1.4 million, larger than their original 1.3 million guess. Television deals are still increasing, as was set years back, ratings be darned. Business across the board either stay stagnant, went down a little, or quite simply - went UP! Way up. A record year for WWE in terms of revenue, over $700 million and their 2017 outlook is even better.

Needless to say, all is well in WWE right now. While we all have our nitpicks and complaints about the entire industry, every three months we get this dose of reality that the bosses in Connecticut DO know what they are doing after all. Out of touch? Please. The proof is in the pudding.
