As 2016 draws to a close, I'll let in you in on both what I expect and what I'd like to see in 2017. Somewhere during the first Raw of 2017, I wouldn't be surprised to see Triple H return yet again. This will, of course, begin the Triple H v Seth Rollins program that will culminate at WrestleMania. Will they pull a Daniel Bryan, ie the caveat that if Seth beats Hunter at WM, he makes the title match a triple threat?

The Revival will be called up. I know that isn't really going out on a limb. They better put them on SD Live. If they're put on Raw, they'll likely be wasted the way Gallows and Anderson have been. WWE has turned Gallows and Anderson into a boring joke. I wish they'd get traded to Smackdown Live and perhaps reunite with AJ.

Neville will have a hot 2017. He'll first win the Cruiserweight championship. He will hold that title leading up to Summerslam. A week before that event, Neville will win a #1 contender I-C title match. At Summerslam, Neville will become the Intercontinental Champion, most likely defeating Dean Ambrose. Perhaps he beats Dean and Miz in a triple threat.

Roman Reigns bulldozes through the first half of 2017 with the U.S. Championship intact. That is until June, where he gets run over by Braun Stroman. Stroman becomes the most dominant United States Champion in recent memory. He holds that title through 2017, possibly most of 2018. Seriously, who's stopping him?

Samoa Joe will be a surprise entrant and winner of the Royal Rumble. He and AJ Styles will renew their rivalry from TNA at WrestleMania, this time for the WWE Championship. Fin Balor will return and become the #1 contender to the Universal Championship. Technically he's owed a shot because he had to forfeit but we know how WWE likes to forget things.

We have Balor/KO, Triple H/Rollins and Joe/Styles headlining WrestleMania. That's what I'd like, of course. What do I see for the women in 2017? Alexa Bliss will surprisingly roll into Summerslam as SD Women's Champion. She'll pull off a shocker at WrestleMania and ride that momentum for months after. She'll finally lose the title to Mickie James.

That's what I see for 2017. Will I be right or wrong? We shall see. Will we have Cena v Undertaker at 'Mania? All these questions and more are sure to be answered in the coming weeks and months.

Happy New Year!!
