NoDQ.com > Columns > Fued of the year Charlotte vs Sasha

I seriously can't get enough of Sasha vs Charlotte. A feud that has been in full flow since July but shows no sign of slowing down and with last week's RAW it had me on the edge of my seat.
Every match has had a 'moment'. A moment where your worried they have legitimately hurt themselves or a 'moment' to appreciate the athletism and the effort they put into the matches.
They are taking women's wrestling to new heights and continue to raise it's profile. There hasn't been a feud with this much passion, grit and reality since Lita vs Trish. They deserve to be main eventing RAW and PPV's and I'm looking forward to see where this feud goes next.

Charlotte the Queen born into this business has done an amazing job as the nasty heel and she backs it up in the ring. The moonsault from the top rope onto Sasha who was on the floor was exceptional. She oozes confidence and truly believes she is the best woman's wrestler in the world today.

Sasha 'the boss' shows no fear, the way she jumps over the top rope and does a suicide dive or a front flip all in order to dethrone the Queen and win back her title. It's a rarity when you watch two competitors and genuinely don't mind who wins.
From the back injury at Summerslam to the first ever Hell in a Cell match I didn't think it could be topped. Then they had the no dq falls anywhere match on RAW and they topped it. The way they used the crowd and wrestled all over the arena took me back to the attitude era and watching Rock Austin and HHH tear each other apart in the crowd. This match had that attitude era feel about it and with the use of kendo sticks and chairs I felt every shot to the back of Charlotte and still wanted more.

Yes the title is changing hands frequently and there is no stable champion but to carry on this feud it had to be done. This feud could go aslong as the classic between Jericho vs HBK as there is still more mileage in this feud. Hopefully this will go down in history as one of the greatest rivalries and have a show dedicated to it on the WWE network

With the awards coming up these two should be considered for Superstar of the year as they deserve it. In my mind only one person has had a better 2016 for all they have done and accomplished and that is Aj Styles.
Charlotte and Sasha deserve all the recognition in the world for their feud. They have raised the profile of woman's wrestling and paved the way for others. It will only be a matter of time before they headline Wrestlemania and I for one think they deserve it and most importantly want to see it.
