Hey guys, this is Ack back with my weekly awards for Monday Night RAW. Let's just go right into it.

Superstar of the Night: Randy Orton
Runner-Up: Daniel Bryan

Randy Orton continues to play a great, sadistic heel and he is doing a great job here. His RKO on Bryan in the beginning was great, so was his angle with The Miz, so was he backstage with Stephanie McMahon, and so was he at the end of the night. Bryan continue to be the top star in the company right now. He really feels like this generation's Stone Cold and everyone is backing him right now, and he is delivering, of course. I'm not a fan of the WWE stripping him of the title, but it is what it is: I can live with it.

Match of the Night: Daniel Bryan vs. Roman Reigns
Runner-Up: Dolph Ziggler vs. Dean Ambrose

Wow, the main event went nearly twenty minutes (I think it was longer than Bryan-Orton from Night of Champions). It was a solid match and Roman Reigns showed he is great as a monster-heel, while performing well in the ring. Dolph-Ambrose upped their game and gave a much better match on RAW than they did at Night of Champions. Dolph is now a future No. 1 Contender for the U.S. Title, which feels like a step down, but again, it is what it is.

Angle of the Night: Dusty Rhodes Gets Knocked Out
Runner-Up: The Miz Gets Taken Out by Randy Orton

I thought the Dusty Rhodes-Stephanie McMahon-Big Show segment was very good. There are some criticisms on it, and I don't like them using the "real" names to make the angle more "real," but I'll give that a pass because Dusty was a great promo as usual. And is it me or is Stephanie actually playing a more diabolical heel than Triple H? Not saying that Triple H is doing a bad job (hell, he's doing great work), but Stephanie just comes off as so evil. Miz being taken out by Orton in front of his parents also was a very solid segment. Orton played a great heel and Miz played a great sympathetic babyface. Why didn't Miz's parents push off Miz's legs when he was set up for the DDT though? Weird--maybe they don't like him as much.

Feud of the Night: Daniel Bryan vs. Randy Orton
Runner-Up: CM Punk vs. Paul Heyman/Ryback

Bryan-Orton continues to be the best feud in the wrestling business today. Both men are doing excellent work and the crowd is reacting extremely well to both men. These two gave a memorable performance at Night of Champions, and I'm presuming they will face off again at Battleground. I hope they do top their performance from Night of Champions as I feel these two are capable of magic, and while Night of Champions was a good match for them, it wasn't great (like their RAW Street Fight). Punk and Heyman continue to do excellent work, and I liked Ryback's promo. Heyman is fantastic in his role and his kiss to Ryback played perfectly with his character. This feud continues to be right up there with the main storyline.

Stinker of the Night: Rob Van Dam vs. Damien Sandow
Runner-Up: Fandango vs. R-Truth

Oh hey Sandow, Mr. Money In The Bank? You lost another match (within three minutes) to current No. 1 contender for the World Title? Are you sure you're going to be future World Champion? It's ridiculous how weak WWE books their MITB winners. That's why they never have solid momentum when they're champion (Examples: Jack Swagger, Daniel Bryan, Dolph Ziggler etc.). Book them strong and they will feel like a big deal when they are champion (Example: Edge, Kane, Randy Orton, Albeto Del Rio). Fandango and R-Truth had a basic match, but it was the only thing that the crowd was silent for, which I found surprising. It's not good how much Fandango has fallen since WrestleMania. I still see talent in him, though, so let's hope he's just stuck for now and will be back up.

What do you guys think of my awards? Agree with them? Disagree with them? Think the idea is dumb? Love the idea and can't wait for the next? Want more awards? Let me know at:

Much Love,

Ack's Plug
