Who is the greatest wrestling family ever?

I honestly cannot answer that, but I will look at some of the Greatest Wrestling Families over time.

This column, I will focus on the extended Hart Family and how Stu Hart influenced the careers of many wrestlers in major promotions and in the Indies.

Stu and Helen Hart, who ruled over many championships and organizations, were the King and Queen of the Hart Dynasty.

Perhaps the most well known of all of the Hart Family is Bret "The Hitman" Hart. Bret first broke it big in the WWE as a tag team partner to his real life brother-in-law, Jim "The Anvil" Niedhart (he was married to Bret's sister, Ellie, with whom they had three children, including WWE wrestler, Natalya).

The following are Bret's accomplishments:
5-time WWE Champion
4-time WCW United States Champion
2-time WCW World Champion
2-time WWE Intercontinental Champion
2-time WWE Tag Team Champion (with Hart Foundation partner Jim Niedhart)
2-time WWE King of the Ring
1-time WCW Tag Team Champion (with Goldberg)
1-time WWE Royal Rumble Winner

The other Hart Family wrestling members include Owen, oldest Brother Smith, Bruce, Keith, Dean, and Ross, while their brother Wayne became a referee. The Hart sisters married wrestlers, too. Ellie married Jim Niedhart, Georgia married BJ Annis, Alison married Ben Bassarab, and Diana married The British Bulldog Davey Boy Smith.

In edition, Davey Smith is the real life cousin of the Dynamite Kid, who was married to Bret's ex-wife's sister.

The lineage continues down the line with Davey Smith's son, Harry Smith, currently wrestling as David Hart Smith for the WWE and with Jim Niedhart's daughter, Natalie, who is wrestling as WWE Diva, Natalya.

The other titles in the family include:

Owen Hart
4-time WWE Tag Team Champion (with Yokozuna, 2x, Davey Smith, 1x, and Jeff Jarrett, 1x).
2-time WWE Intercontinental Champion
1-time WWE European Champion
1-time WWE King of the Ring

Jim Niedhart
2-time WWE Tag Team Champion (with Bret Hart)

Davey Boy Smith
1-time WWE Intercontinental Champion
2-time WWE European Champion
2-time WWE Hardcore Champion
2-time WWE Tag Team Champion (1x with the Dynamite Kid and 1x with Owen Hart)

As well as various other promotions' Championships.

And then there is the list of Stu Hart's Hart Dungeon Graduates, which has been taken over by his sons. The Dungeon was Stu Hart's "wrestling school" and graduated names such as:
- "Superstar" Billy Graham
- Greg "The Hammer" Valentine
- Bad News Brown
- Davey Boy Smith
- Brian Pillman
- Jushin "Thunder" Liger
- Chris Benoit
- Natalya Niedhart
- Chris Jericho
- Lance Storm

And that is the real Hart Dynasty. I just hope that David Hart Smith, Natalya, and adopted member, Tyson Kidd can live up to the Family name, which is more than we can say for Teddy Hart, who had his chance with the WWE and blew it.
