Once again, these TNA pay-per-views keep impressing me and they seem like they get better each time.

Pre-Show Match:
Rhyno and Eric Young vs The British Invasion

Continuing with E.Y.'s storyline of being underappreciated, once again he's stuck on the preliminary card. The match started out okay with a few quick tags between Rhyno and E.Y. , but quickly changed when Eric's chip on his shoulder got too big and he walked off. E.Y. leaves and than Rhyno's trainee the former Navy Sailor runs to the ring and after a few minutes of watching helplessly the referee allows him to become Rhyno's tag partner. He surges quick and than gets beat to hell. So this could be the start of a decent storyline between Rhyno, Eric Young and the Sailor. Rating: 3.5/5

X-Division King of the Mountain Match:
Suicide vs Alex Shelley vs Chris Sabin vs Jay Lethal vs Consequences Creed

This was an amazing match to officially start off the PPV. They started off ganging up on Suicide and even all celebrating together at one point until they actually got Suicide into the penalty box. Than comes a lot of flawless amazing high flying. Including a nice sequence of about 4 reversals, than some flying from ladders and all together great crusierweight fights. Suicide ended up retaining the title, but it was a rediculously entertaining fight. 5/5

Second Chance Match:
Chris Daniels vs Shane Douglas

This match was okay, more or less what anybody expected from it. Was it flashy..nope, but it wasn't totally horrible. Chris Daniels won obviously, you think they'd let Shane's fat ass beat Daniels?? 2.5/5

TNA Knockout Title Match:
Angelina Love vs Tara

I simply loved this match. Velvet Sky in a mini-skirt, Madison Rayne is nice to look at too and I've always loved Victoria...or I mean Tara. So I was totally loving this match just because the 3 hottest Knockouts were in or around the ring. Angelina won due to a lot of help from the Beautiful People, but at least she didn't botch too many moves. 3/5

Monster's Ball Mixed Tag Team Match:
Abyss & Taylor Wilde vs Raven & Daffney

I find Daffney kinda hot for a wacked out Goth chick, but all in all it was a good match. The girls had some nice moves including Taylor putting Daffney through a table and Taylor also slammed Daffney on tacks. And the tacks came into play with Abyss and Raven also cause after an Evenflow DDT onto a steel chair didn't take out Abyss, Abyss Blackhole Slammed Raven onto the tacks and pinned him. It was a good hardcore match though, even got people chanting E-C-Dub and Holy Shit. 4.5/5

Main Event Mafia or Bust Match:
Sting vs Matt Morgan

Straight up normal kinda match that Morgan dominated for the better portion. Sting got some momentum, and I'm not sure if it was fatigue or just his age catching up to him but Sting did miss reversing a verticle suplex into a Scorpion Deathdrop and just kinda slipped off Morgan's shoulders. But after a Deathdrop from the middle rope Sting finally beat Morgan. You didn't really think they'd have Sting lose his spot in the Mafia after just getting it last week did ya? 3.5/5

TNA Tag Team Championship Match:
Team 3D vs Beer Money Inc.

This was a good back and forth match until the British Invasion came down to the announce table and then eventually interfered. Team 3D should have had that match won two or three times but the damn Brits screwed everything up. And Beer Money put the nail in the coffin of the possible face turn after they 'respected' 3D. So Beer Money are assholes with belts again and the Brisith Invasion is turning out to be a solid heel stable. 4/5

TNA World Championship King of the Mountain Match:
Mick Foley vs Kurt Angle vs A.J. Styles vs Samoa Joe vs Jeff Jarrett

Kurt comes out in a Pittsburgh Penguins jersey and during announcements Joe finds a Red Wings jersey ( from where I don't know) and jumps Kurt before the bell. And that by default starts him in the box and Kurt with eligibility for the belt. But after that initial eruption it was another solid multi-man match. The highlight was prolly Mick Foley and his flying elbow from ontop the penalty box onto Kurt Angle, kinda made you remember his Hell in the Cell elbow. But another big shock was Joe was scaling the ladder and than Kurt gets on the other side and just when it looks like Joe's gonna clock him with the belt, he just hands it to Kurt and allows him to win. Starting speculation that Kurt was the advisor, or that Joe is working with the Mafia for some reason. Cause after the match Nash, Booker, Sharmel and Scott came out and started clapping like it was planned from the beginning. Interesting storyline turn. 4.5/5

So mathematically it comes out to like a 3.82 which is a good bit better than I rated Lockdown. But over all storyline possibilities, development and entertainment I'm gonna give Slammiversary a 4.5/5.

TNA keeps getting better, while WWE continues to go down the crapper.
