I am sick of hearing people rip Floyd Mayweather. For instance all of the this is not real and hes got to be crazy to risk his career. Mayweather is making what his manager and people along with myself thinks is a good way to gain exposure. It would be different if this man was washed up like Tyson or Hollyfield when they came into the WWE. It would also be different if this man was like 10-0 or 20-0 or something. But news flash.... HE IS NOT! This man is 39-0!
I dont feel anyone has the right to tell the wbc champ and a man who has never lost a boxing match what to do. Mayweather has done dancing with the stars and made enough money in boxing to give it all up today. The possibilities for Mayweather are endless.
Where do I think he is going to end up. I very well think Mayweather will fight De La Hoya in September. If he wins he will become a flawless 40-0. I feel Mayweather will then walk away from boxing. There is also talk even from Mayweather himself he may stick around the WWE. I could actually see Mayweather having some part time roll in the business and a few matches here and there. I personally think Mayweather is going to try his hand in MMA by next year. With Mark Cuban rolling big and using his power an money to get whatever fights and fighters he can. This could also lead into the WWE working with Cuban like it was previously rumored. Is Mayweather getting 20 million absolutely not. I think Mayweathers 20 million is what he could end up with if he finishes out the year with the WWE and also for alot of talk. I seriously doubt he is going to get 20 million unless he signs on with the company.
It will be interseting to see how Mayweather does on Sunday. I do feel he is an incredible athlete. I hope he has a good mat presence. Youy know how some people get in the ring and look skidish and do everything wrong and fall wrong and do not know whats coming next. I think every single move in this fight will be scripted and practiced. I do not see this match going 5 minutes if there is not alot of stalling or interference. I really do not see how they are going to do anything fake in this one without it looking completely fake. It will be interesting and a memorable Sunday!
